The Diary Game: 14th May, Late Start, Generator Wahala, slow Day but glory to God.
Hi guys, it’s Otidi here again. On today’s episode, I’ll share how my day went.
I went to work late today, and here’s why. I had a waybill to prepare for my junior brother in school. I slept late, so I woke up late too. I started arranging his stuff, but while I was at it, I realized there were still some things missing.
If I had known I wouldn’t finish, I wouldn’t have started . it delayed me from going to work early. I couldn’t get the remaining items, so I paused it. I’ll finish the waybill tomorrow.
After that, I dressed up quickly, grabbed my stuff, head to my boss's place where I left my printer yesterday and picked up my printer.
I didn't waste time before I headed straight to the shop. I did my usual cleaning, sat down, and started scrolling through social media. I was also chatting with ChatGPT about a new business idea I had. Just figuring out if it’s possible and how to execute it... To be able to execute this I might be needing coding skill. That's a crazy one cause coding looks like magic already.
While I was at it, one of my students who hadn’t been around since last week showed up. We exchanged greetings, talked, and did a short lecture. Today we covered Microsoft PowerPoint... the last part of the Microsoft Office package we’ve been learning.
About an hour later, they took the light.
My other student, Destiny, came in, so I wanted to bring out the generator to continue teaching. But my landlord came up and said no. we should take the generator downstairs. He said he’d told my neighbor before, and when he heard the gen again, he came up to insist.
The issue is from a lady at the last shop. She feels the space is too small and she can’t pass to her shop. She’s had quarrels with another neighbor before. The landlord doesn’t want trouble, so he said the gen has to go downstairs.
The problem is, if I keep it down there, I’ll need to spend extra money to secure it. That’s a lot right now.
In the end, I agreed to keep it at the staircase and carry it up and down daily. It’s stressful, but that’s the option for now.
Business was slow today too. Feels like more spending than earning this week. But it'sjust life happening I know. I felt hungry and as usual I got kunu. Today's own was only two. I drank two bottles of it.
My neighbor just came back from a trip where she went to get some business product and forced me to buy some deodorant and body mist I didn’t plan for. I’d been looking for this exact body mist for my lady since I came to Lokoja ... It everywhere in Kaduna and Jos. But never seen it here. She had two flavors left, so I grabbed one for my lady.
I also bought Rigg for my self. It’s been a while since I used rigg.
So those were the two things I got from her today.
Fast forward to evening, I closed up
took a bike home, and ate one of my favorite meals ... beans and rice. Took my shower and wrapped up the day. That was how my day went.
