Children: My View, Myself Wk40.

I bring you greetings from my own part of the world (Nigeria). I hope you all are doing well and are enjoying your happy lives.

I am delighted to participate in this contest titled: Children: My View, Myself Wk40 organized by @saintkelvin17 in this great community.

What do you understand by the word Children?

Children are special gifts from God to their parent. Children are young people who are below 18years (minority).

Children are also young individuals who are still very vulnerable, depends on their parent or caregiver for their needs, who are still under the care of their parent, and are between the stages of infancy, puberty, and adolescence. Anyone who falls under these stages is still a child.

And lastly,,,, children are often seen as the future leaders.

Tell us your experience with children.

My experience with children so far has really been an amazing experience. I have learned great things from them. Especially for the past three months that I have been with my eldest sister taking care of my niece and nephew.

In my experience with children, I have come to understand that children are the most amazing and interesting humans one can live with. They are so peaceful, they shows genuine love, they forgives easily and do not keep records of wrongs at all. No wonder the Holy Bible made emphasis on the need to live as a child if you want to have eternal life.

There is this particular thing I have learned from my niece and nephew that has really shaped my life within this three months that I have been with them. I have learned how to forgive even without being asked for it. You hardly see my niece and nephew not playing together,, despite the fact that the always fight. This minutes they are fighting the next minute you see them playing together,, oh what a beautiful thing to do😊😊

And I have also come to understand that for you to correct a child and for the child to adhere to the correction,, you must do it with love.

How many children do you intend to have in the future? Also, more girls or more boys?

With the kind of life I am planning to give my children in the future, I intend having just two children when I finally get married someday.

Talking about the gender I want more, I want them equal. In essence, I want to have a girl and a boy. But the girl should come first🤭, follow by the boy.

I am just hoping and praying that I find a partner who will also want same😒🙏

God answers the prayers of little children, how true is that?

Yes it is very true that God answers the prayers of little children. Here is why;

Children are spotless and without sin,, their purity usually attracts God's attention to their prayers more than the Adults.

Another reason is because of their vulnerability,, they trust both God and human wholeheartedly, therefore when they pray, the depend on God and have faith in Him, making their prayers more relatable.

"Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mathew 19:15, NIV).
