First, I will heat the one liter of milk left over from yesterday on the stove. When the milk boils, I will add a tablespoon of vinegar to it. If I add vinegar, the milk will curdle and the chick will separate.

Now I will take the chick and shake off the excess water with a strainer. When the water drips from the strainer, I will take the chick into a bowl.

Now I will knead the chick well with the help of my hands. I will knead the chick in such a way that it becomes smooth. After finishing kneading, I will take a little bit of the chick and make small balls.

For making sugar syrup I will take 4 cups of water in a pan and add 2 cup of sugar to it. When the sugar-mixed water boils, I will add the chick balls to it.I also add cardamom for spread aroma in syrup.

Boil the chick balls for 10-12 minutes. This will cause the balls to swell and double in size. At the same time, the balls will absorb the sugar syrup.Remove the sponge sweet from the oven and serve.
Many times, even if the milk that is sold is not spoiled, it is on the verge of becoming sour. If you do not throw away that milk, you can make channa by mixing a little vinegar or lemon juice. Then you can make channa sweets, sandesh and many other dessert items from that channa, which are also very delicious to eat.
Moreover, if you buy this sponge sweet from the market, you have to spend extra money. There are definitely health benefits of homemade food. Sometimes milk is left over in my house, which is not spoiled, but later I make channa in this way and make sponge sweets, sandesh. Which my children like to eat very much. This not only prevents my food waste, but also gives me a variation of food made with milk.
Some important tips can be followed to keep sponge sweets fresh and good for a long time-
Sponge sweets do not spoil easily if kept in the refrigerator. If it is always kept in a clean and covered container in the refrigerator, it usually stays good for 4-5 days. Sponge sweets taste better in cold conditions than in hot conditions. Therefore, keeping it in the refrigerator is more effective.
Since sponge sweets contain juice, dipping them in sugar syrup does not dry them out and keeps them soft and fresh.
Any food can turn sour or spoil quickly if kept in direct sunlight or in very hot places. Therefore, it should be kept in a cool place, so avoid keeping food in the sun or in hot places.
