Weekly Drawing Contest || Week-29 || Draw a Date Fruit.

Hope everyone is well. I am @sandimal from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. Today I am here to participate in a very interesting drawing contest "Draw a Date Fruit" which is organizing by @enamul17. Before going to the drawing I would like to thank him for organizing this contest.

Today our topic is to draw a Date fruit. As we know date fruit belongs to the palm family. Mostly they are growing in the middle east and north african countries. Sometimes they can be found in the south asian countries also. But in my country I have not seen the date trees. Date fruits are imported to Sri Lanka. Dates is one of my favourite fruits. We can see different types of dates in shops. As I heard date fruit has so many healthy benifits. Some of them are:

• Dates are Highly Nutritious
• Reduces Risk of Cancers
• Dates have the ability to increase the
production of insulin
• Dates have various properties that can help our kidney health
• Help in improving the sperm count of males
• Adding Strength to our Nervous System

As I mentioned above we are consuming only the imported date fruits in my country. So the price also somewhat high.

Let's see how to draw date fruit. For my drawing the following materials were needed.

Materials

• A piece of paper
• A pencil
• An eraser
• Scale
• Color pencils

Step 01

First I took the paper and thought in which way it is good to draw the date fruit. Then I decided to draw the dates fruits filled in a bowl. So as the first step a bowl was drawn.

Step 02

Then it is needed to draw the dates fruits inside the bowl. So as the second step drawn dates inside the bowl.

Step 03

In the third step I started to color my drawing. In the start I used to color the bowl which filled with dates fruits. For that I used black, brown and yellow colors.

Step 04

Then I started to color the dates fruits by using black, brown, yellow, dark green and red colors from my color pencil box.

Step 05

You may have noticed that the surface of well-processed dates fruit has a shriveled nature. I used yellow color to highlight it.

Step 06

As the last step here, I have drawn the edges of the drawing with black color. In the same time I colored the surrounding of the dates filled bowl, to remove the emptiness.
