The Diary Game: Taking A Break From Work And Keke Adventures(18-12-2025)

Hey there, I am Mokomabasi Ntukidem known on @steemit as @sheilamkz. I didn't feel the urge to go to work today when I woke up so I laid back on bed to do a research on my kids holiday project topic before saying my morning prayers and going outside to sweep and do other necessary chores. I finished sweeping and moved to the next chore which was fetching water, our tap is faulty and for the mean time I have to be fetching water from the neighbouring compound until ours is repaired. I finished and went to the market to buy food items for breakfast

When returning back from the market, I saw a scene that made my heart race. A keke driver was reckless in his driving and almost drive into the front of a trailer while trying to overtake it and unfortunately I was inside the Keke, I screamed and asked the driver to be careful before he drives me to early grave. I even asked me to stop so I could alight and walk back home since using keke wasn't convenient. I entered another Keke back home and on getting home, took a deep breathe in and out and thanked God for protection.

I made my breakfast when I got home, ate and took my bath. When I finished taking my bath, I decided to go out to my friend's shop to stay with her but another thought crossed my mind to just be at home and relax so I climbed my bed and relaxed. I picked my phone and began to play ludo game, I wasn't sure I wanted to see a movie. I do not really fancy movie, I only see a movie while having a family time. I wasn't long gone with the movie when sleep came around and I paused to have my nap. I woke up to a hot weather and I stepped out to buy ice cream from an eatery not too far from my house.

I returned home and began to write my diary a out my previous day's activities though I was interrupted by my neighbor who came to have her hair weaved. She recently put to birth and can't step out without her baby so I followed her to her house and weaved her hair. I did it for free, that's my little way of gifting her during this festive period though I know I'll still visit her before the month runs out with gifts for the new born. I continued with my diary when I returned home before taking dinner and calling it a day.
