The Diary game for ( 22/06/2026 ). A Productive Day.
Hi friends, how are you all? By the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah and with your prayers, I am doing very well. I pray that all of you are also doing well.Like every day, my day began by waking up early in the morning and offering the Fajr prayer. After performing the prayer, I went outside for a short walk. Walking after prayer is one of my daily habits. Therefore, every day after finishing my prayer, I spend some time walking outdoors. Morning walks keep both the body and mind healthy and refreshed.
After returning home, I had breakfast. The breakfast consisted of toast biscuits made by a local bakery in our area. These toasts are very delicious. Although they are not produced by any famous company, they are no less in quality. The bakery maintains good standards while preparing them. They contain a small amount of sweetness, which makes them very enjoyable to eat. Since they are soft, both elderly people and children can eat them comfortably and happily.
After finishing breakfast, I went outside to check on my new project. By “new project,” I mean a system where I use discarded bottles, drums, and other containers to grow vegetables. I have planted various kinds of vegetables and leafy greens there. By the grace of Allah, the plants are growing beautifully, and the results have been very promising. This method allows a large amount of produce to be grown in a very small space, such as a courtyard. It is especially useful for people living in cities or in homes with limited space. Therefore, it is a highly effective method that makes it possible to produce fresh and healthy vegetables without wasting much space.
After completing my work, I set out for the market in the afternoon. On the way, I passed by a garden that is mainly a betel nut plantation. There are many betel nut trees there. In our northern region, betel leaf and betel nut are considered traditional and respected items. They are essential at social gatherings and special occasions. As a result, the demand for betel nuts is quite high. Betel nuts are generally harvested once a year, but mature nuts can be preserved in water or through other methods and used throughout the year. Because of the recent rainfall, the betel nut trees have become very slippery, making it more difficult to harvest the nuts at this time.
Recently, due to heavy rainfall, roads, canals, ponds, rivers, and other water bodies have become filled with water. While traveling, I noticed that many potholes on the roads were filled with rainwater because proper repairs had not been carried out. This has caused significant inconvenience for people moving around. Nearby canals and wetlands are also overflowing. As a result, vehicles must be driven carefully, as even a small mistake could cause an accident or lead a vehicle into a ditch. Although this is an important road, proper maintenance is rarely carried out, and even when repairs are done, they are often inadequate. However, the rain has had one positive effect—it has washed away the dust from the roads, making them look cleaner and more pleasant.

After arriving at the market, I spent some time walking around, met some friends, and had some snacks. Then I went to the vegetable section. There I saw red spinach, which I have loved eating since childhood. When I was a child, I used to call the red-colored broth of cooked red spinach “blood” because it looked so similar. I found it amusing and enjoyed eating it. That childhood habit remains with me even today. So, without hesitation, I bought red spinach worth 100 taka. After purchasing it, I headed back home.
