"One Picture And One Story Week #72"

Greetings to the beautiful people of this great community, it's a brand new day and we are grateful for life.

I always look forward to participating in this contest organized by our amiable ma'am @suboohi, the contest give someone the room to express his/herself through a given picture without having to limit oneself to a set of questions.

Before I proceed let me invite my friends @missyleo @comfortpeter @enyddy to come share their stories as well.

We are living in the last days where different kinds of crimes and atrocities are the order of the day; people killing one another, stealing, marriage failing (divorce) and all sorts of abominable acts.
So as such there's a great need to pray to the Almighty either as a person, as a family or as a group by coming together to intercede.

For instance: I read online the other day how a man poured fuel on his wife who has given birth to six children for him and set her ablaze and this happened in one of our neighboring state.
And I was like what a world we live in!.

A wife that's supposed to be bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh and he had the mind to set her ablaze. Chai😭 how did we get here, no fear of God nor human sympathy or even regards to life.

That's why the aforementioned body organized a solemn assembly which order of service were:-
Opening prayers
Worship and praise
First hymn
Chairman's opening remarks
Introduction of guests and dignitaries
First intercessory prayers
Choir ministration
Exhortation by the president
Second intercessory prayers
Goodwill messages
Vote of thanks
Closing hymn
Final closing prayers

I think those are the activities I could remember, it was beautiful to see people left their businesses to assemble in one place to pray for the wellbeing and the good of the land, because if the land is not fruitful and prospering it will definitely affect the inhabitants.

That's why on the 25th January 2025, a group of persons known as "United Intercessors Global Network“ organized a solemn assembly in my State, Akwa ibom State.

So I believe that "if there is a man to pray, there's a God to answer". And the Almighty shall heal and restore our land, that I'm very positive.

The picture was taken by the media when the worship and praise session was going on.
