SEC-S17 /W4| "Why do you Prefer Steemit Only?

I hope you are doing well...
Thank you dear friend @meehu for inviting me to join this contest. I'm so excited to take part in this contest organized by the Steem For Pakistan Community. In the fourth week of SEC-17, I think we have a wonderful contest to share our opinions on "Why do we prefer Steemit only?". I guess we all have a reason to stick with Steemit for many years. My journey with Steemit is from 2018. It was when I first discovered this amazing platform. Thanks to the platform I have become an independent woman. With so much gratitude for this platform, I'm thankful to everyone who supported me in this journey. I was able to make some really good friends from this platform and I'm really grateful for all I have today because of this amazing platform.
✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?
It was 2018 when I first heard about this platform. When signing up, my intention was to learn more about it to see if blogging suited my lifestyle. Initially, my husband had just given me a brief overview of the platform, But still, I had many questions as to how it works. At that time, I was not able to find any communities or someone to guide us through the platform. I tried posting some images just to see what would happen next, but there was no response or upvotes.
Later, it was the time when all our dreams shattered with the start of the pandemic. We were far from our regular lives not knowing what to do. Once again it was my husband, who encouraged me to rejoin Steemit by posting the Achievement 1 task. This is how I started, gradually with time I learned so many things on this platform. I should say the newcomers' program helped me a lot to overcome many challenges on this platform. I think during the pandemic Steemit was a great escape from reality. I enjoyed my time with Steemit very much those days.
In summary, I believe Steemit is one of the best things that has happened in my life. It has been a valuable addition to my lifestyle. I'm forever grateful to my husband, @besticofinder for introducing me to this amazing platform.
✍️ Your challenges faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?
Talking about challenges, I didn't face many challenges other than seeing my post run out with zero upvotes. It demotivated me and made me lose interest in posting. It made me feel that I wasn't rewarded for the time and effort that I put into blogging. However, over time, I have come to understand that it's the nature of the platform. Sometimes we get curators to vote for our content and sometimes we don't.
✍️ Your inspiration on Steemit?
As always my inspiration for Steemit was my husband, I have witnessed how he has handled both good times and bad times and how he has faced all challenges while still finding time for Steemit. I have seen his efforts to grow the Sri Lankan community on this platform. He is a great mentor and I really admire him for his guidance and support throughout my journey on Steemit. He will always be a great source of inspiration for me as I strive to achieve my goals on Steemit and to introduce Steemit to whoever loves blogging.
✍️ Your happy story due to Steemit?
Like everyone on this platform, I love seeing my Steem Power increase. I'm currently working hard to reach my goal on Steemit. I'm really glad that I took the opportunity to become a MOD on one of the most reputed communities on the Steemit platform and to work under the guidance of a great person @patjewell, who loves helping every Steemian grow. I'm eternally grateful to her for giving me this opportunity, I believe it has significantly helped me grow my account and reach my goals faster.
Since I was introduced to this platform, my life has changed a lot. I no longer feel unemployed as Steemit has given me strength and confidence to move forward in life positively. I have faith in God, and I believe that this is a gift that I received to make my life beautiful and worth my time. No matter what It will always be Steemit for me. I love Steemit very much!

There is nothing as bad as going to school and at the end of the day, there is no employment for you, well steemit has brought a lot of light to us, imagine you saying that you don't longer feel unemployed any more.
There is this my friend that was working and the salary was very small so I advice her to quit the work and I signed her up in steemit, now she is doing so well
When I ask her if she regrets ever resigning and she said no.
So steemit is very good but at the same time you save for yourself.

I must say that I enjoyed reading your post. I’m glad you listened to your husband to come back and become consistent on steemit. Steemit is a beautiful platform. If only we can be patient and understand how things work around here. Initially, it’s not easy to spend time to make a post and you don’t get anything in return. It’s gonna be very discouraging, but always being consistent, Makes us win and i see that you’ve really achieved so much in your time of been here and it’s good to know that Steemit has been a source of financial help to you and your family after the Covid. great post you have here I enjoyed reading it, I hope to hear from you again as I wish you success in the engagement .
