Simple & Delicious Beef Qorma Recipe – A Taste of Pakistan

I hope you're all doing well. It's been a while since I last shared anything, mainly due to various commitments and a busy schedule. But today, I’ve finally made some time to share a recipe with you all.
Yesterday, I made Beef Qorma, and I’ll be sharing the recipe here. Qorma is a traditional Pakistani dish that's usually made on special occasions. Although yesterday wasn’t a special day, I was simply craving it! Everyone has their own way of making Qorma, but this is the simplest recipe I know. So without further ado, let’s get started.

| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Beef | 750 grams |
| Black pepper | 4–5 pieces |
| Cumin seeds | 1 tbsp |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 stick |
| Cloves | 4–5 pieces |
| Ginger garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
| Red chili powder | 1.5 tbsp |
| Coriander powder | 1 tbsp |
| Salt | 1 tbsp |
| Fried onions | ½ cup |
| Yogurt | ½ cup |
🥘 Method
Step 1: Temper the Whole Spices
Add a few spoons of oil to a pan. Once hot, add the cloves, black pepper, cinnamon stick, and cumin seeds. Fry them for a few minutes to release their fragrance.
Step 2: Cook the Meat
Add the beef and fry it for a few minutes. Then add the ginger garlic paste and cook for a few more minutes until the raw smell disappears.
Now add the red chili powder, salt, and coriander powder. Mix everything well.
Step 3: Tenderize the Beef
Add 2 glasses of water and let it cook for an hour or until the meat becomes tender.

Step 4: Add Yogurt & Onion Mix
Blend the fried onions and yogurt together into a smooth paste, then add this mixture to the pan. Cook it until the oil separates from the curry, that’s the sign your Qorma is ready!
