Pity you no longer join us in Art & Artists. I believe I used the same pens. With us they are still for sale, those tips you should separately.
I am happy you let your son join you.inwonder if calligraphy cannot be done with a brush as well or who knows a fountain pen although they are expensive and the result isn't super if it comes to Chinese characters ( I tried them to write this way, might be the tip again).
I don't know that much about comics at all. I could ask around or who knows @dreeyor is more familiar?
And if course you can ask your son or we ask Google lens. Can be it is his own anime character. Personally, I only Sesshoumaru LOL

You’re right about the tools .finding the perfect tip for calligraphy makes all the difference. I’m actually exploring both brushes( for fabric and wall )and pens (for paper) . Having my son join me has been a wonderful experience; it’s great to see his interest in art.
