The Diary Game: At The Market And Cooking With My Wife 12/4/2026

Today, when I came back from church, I told my wife that I would love to eat something nice. She made a list for me and told me to go and get the items. I went to the place immediately to get the stuffs. This was when I was at the market and the sun was very high.

When I came back to the house, my son had already slept off, I knew that if he wakes up, he was going to cry for what to eat, so I went to the provision store and bought golden morn cereal for him. I didn't want a situation where he would wake up and begin to cry because I know the food we wanted to cook would take us time to finish it up.

We started cooking around 3pm, my wife was the one chopping the vegetables and I washed the meat and did other things. We wanted to cook rice with source and that would take time. We took things very slow. At some point, I wasn't even feeling the hunger any longer.

When I went to the backyard to pour the dirty water we were using, I saw my new neighbor, she was washing her clothes, I greeted her and she greeted me as well. Now, we have a neighbour to at least talk to. So I went back to join my wife.

The food got ready immediately my boy got up from bed and I was glad. We ate together as a family and even though it was late. So, after eating ,I couldn't stay at home, I told my wife that I would go to stroll. I went to the field that's some poles away from my house and I stayed there for some while before I moved to the tarred road. The whole place was just quiet and that's a typical Sunday over here.

In the night, when I came back to the house, my wife brought food for me to eat and I collected the food and ate it. It was very delicious, tasted like we just took it off the fire. I fed my son and then after that, I bathed him and we ate watched movie small.
