The Diary Game: Attending The Marriage Ceremony Of My Childhood Friend In The Village 10/1/2026

Today, my childhood friend wedded to love of his life and I was so happy to be in attendance. That was even the more reason I had to come back to the village for new year celebration. So, first they started with the White wedding, sadly I wasn't home early to join the groomsmen.

When I arrived the wedding venue, I saw my friend and he was joined with his beautiful bride. I was always preaching it like a message to him to marry and right now, he is even the one that is enjoying. The white wedding did not take much time because it will be after the white wedding, then they will return home for the traditional marriage. Sight my friend's beautiful wife.

When the white wedding came to an end, we all went back to the village for the traditional wedding proper. I was laughing at my friend because on my wedding day, this guy dealt with me, imagine his wife was all dressed up in traditional attire and he was yet to dress, I know, men's dressing isn't that complex unlike women.

When the tm started proper, we all came in numbers to support him. At least since he doesn't have a brother, we that knew him since our childhood days came to cheer him up so he will know he has people that has his back.

He called me and whispered to my ears that I should take charge of all the food that was being prepared in the kitchen. He knew I can handle it because people can really be funny, imagine when I even got to the kitchen, I saw one woman who wanted to sneak out a big meat, I collected it from her and asked her not to step her foot in the kitchen again.

It was a very hard task but I had to make sure the guests that came were all taken care of very well. I was the one that was supervising everything that was going on. I served the invited guests and the most important guests that came for the event.

The master of ceremony wasn't fast at all, I was even signaling my friend to tell him to hurry up but I don't know, he didn't want to. When we finished, I went to the backyard to stay with other group of friends so that I can drink and merry.

When I returned to the event place, it was very late in the evening. We all joined them to dance their final dance so that they can all depart to their house. When the ceremony ended, I stayed back so that I can help him run some errands because I know he will be tired when he is done with the ceremony.

Before I could finish, it was 11pm, I was very tired soni struggled to go back home so that my mum won't be using torch light to look for me. I got back home with some food take aways and give it to my mum then took my bath and then I wanted to rest.
