The Diary Game: Staying At Home And Cooking For Family 26/2/2026

For today, I wasn't going anywhere, I wanted to stay at home because the general market will be closed from 2pm today so that people will go to the marriage ceremony of the Market chairman's daughter. I didn't want to go but I had contributed by dues towards the occasion. So i was enjoying my morning with my family till I had to bath my son to go to school.

When I took my son to where his bike man will come and carry him, I came back home so that I can take money to the market to buy meat. I was in charge of the kitchen today and so I had all the time to cook a very delicious meal for my family. When I went to the market, I bought goat meat and when I came back to the house, I took the meat and washed them, steamed them and then I used it to prepare a nice soup.

I didn't use a the meat you see up there, I use half of the meat and kept half of it in the fridge because it's plenty. After I finished cooking, I went to my wife's shop and gave her the food to eat then I came back home to do clean up.

After clean up, I went to the well and fetched water, I filled the drum in the house and then when I finished, I locked the well and then I returned inside. When I went inside, I bathed and I was so tired and my hand was paining me. So I just slept small that afternoon till my son was brought back home by his bike man.

I bathed him and gave him food to eat then I went to the shop with him. On our way to the shop, I saw good and clean avocados, they were so tempting, I bought some and took it to my wife's shop. When I got there, I opened one and ate then kept the remaining for us to eat later.

In the evening, my son began to cry, I didn't even understand why he was crying, all the effort to make him stop crying proved abortive, so I checked his body and saw that he had a sound just by his ear region. I asked him and he told me Destiny who is his classmate gave him the wound. I washed the wound.

When we returned back home, I went to the kitchen and warmed the soup then I brought out the soup I cooked in the morning. I served my wife and my son, and we all ate and were satisfied. My wife was telling me that the food is so delicious, I knew it was delicious because I have magic hands.

When we finished eating, I helped my wife bathed our son and then I tried putting him to bed. When he slept off, I sat at the parlour with my wife discussing and then I felt like sharing my day before continuing our discussion.
