Hello Chefs, welcome to my recipe blog where I share mouthwatering dish and of course unique.
Today, I will be sharing the recipe of beans and unripe plantain porridge. This combination is rare, most people prefer ripe plantain with beans including me but I decided to try out something different, unique and healthy.

Wash and parboil the beans. While the beans is boiling, wash, peel and cut the plantain to your desired size/ shape.
After parboiling, sieve the water out, add the plantain.
Add sliced onions, dried fish and water then set to cook.
Monitor closely till it is soft. Add other ingredients at this point when both plantain and beans are soft.
Add maggi, salt and fresh pepper then allow it to boil.
Add palm oil and continue cooking. Pour in the crayfish.
Lastly, pour in sliced scent leaf. Allow it to cook for 1 minute then turn off the gas.
My yummy pot of beans and plantain porridge is ready and well served.
