Power-Sic Week No. 116// 226 steem power up

Hello friends and welcome to my blog. It’s another beautiful day to be a part and parcel of the powerup teams.

Powerup is a great exercise that has come along way to being useful to our growth on the platform. I am glad that I am able to do more power ups this season and I also intend to keep up at it.

So for the purpose of this contest, I have powered up some of my liquid steem and I am sharing the process with us. Powerup as we all know has to do with converting our liquid steem into steem Power as a way to build our steem power outside the steem power payout.

Before I proceeded with my power up process, I had some steem available. So to start the powerup, I first had to log into my steemit wallet and signed in. I had about 226 steem in my liquid steem and my steem power was 12,195 steem power.

So after signing in, I clicked on the drop down arrow under the steem and then clicked on the powerup button.

It took me to where the powerup option is to input the number of steem I want to powerup. I had 226 in my wallet. So I input the whole steem I had which was 226 steem. After imputing it into the space provided, I proceeded to click the powerup button.

And at that juncture, my liquid steem was transferred into my steem power and that brought my steem power to 12,421 steem power.

I am glad to be a part of this exercise to increase my steem power on a weekly basis. Steem power building through powerup is actually a beautiful exercise as we know that it helps to grow our steem power which I turn helps to increase our influence in the ecosystem.

It also helps us to be able to support others as we curate on their posts and also shows our commitment to building the community together. Well, I will continue to Powerup and grow my steem power. Until then, see you in my next power up.
