1 - Make your own Aloo matar shaljum(Potato Pea and Turnip curry) (include ingredients, quantities, and steps) using my recipe or any other recipe of your choice.

| Shaljum(Turnip) | 1kg |
| Onion | 3 |
| Tomato | 3 |
| Yogurt | 1cup |
| Salt | 2tbsp |
| Red chilli powder | 2 tbsp |
| Zeera powder | 2tbsp |
| Turmeric | 1tsp |
| Black seed | 1tsp |
| Ginger powder | 1tsp |
| Oil | 1/2cup |
| Garlic | 5,6cloves |

First, take a pan and add chopped garlic and onion to it. Then add cooking oil and cook the mixture for about five minutes, stirring gently until it becomes soft.

Then take the tomatoes, chop them, and add them to the pan. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring gently, until the tomatoes become soft and release their juices.

Add salt, red chilli powder, black seed, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and ginger powder to the pan, and mix well so the spices combine evenly with the ingredients.

Take a bowl and add yogurt to it. Whisk it well, then add it to the paste and mix thoroughly.Cook the mixture until the oil starts to separate and comes out from the sides.

I wash the vegetables very carefully and add them to the paste. Then I mix everything together well so the vegetables are evenly coated with the mixture.

Take the potatoes, cut them into pieces, wash them well, and add them to the mixture.

Then add 2 glasses of water to the mixture, stir well, cover the pan with a lid, and cook until the vegetables become soft.

Chop coriander, green chillies, and ginger, and use them to garnish the dish. Then cover the pan again and let it sit for 2 minutes.

When I open the lid, the vegetables are tender and cooked through, their colors vibrant, and the aroma is mouthwatering. The dish looks so delicious that it’s ready to serve and enjoy.

When I serve the dish, everyone starts eating with delight and truly enjoys every bite. They compliment me on the delicious flavors, the perfect texture of the vegetables, and the wonderful aroma, making me feel proud of my cooking.
