Daily Menu Delicacies Week No.94 date (29-10-2025) / I consumed small due to stress.
It's been a long time I joined this amazing contest. I am one person who doesn't get tired of cooking, no matter what meal it is. I enjoy every bit of flavors, the sounds, and the aromas that come out of the kitchen when the cooking is going on. How about you?.
I always receive praise when I cook any meal, Remember my country is richly blessed with different kinds of meal. I can boost fully said family and friends enjoy every meal prepared for them on daily and weekly basis.
Waking up yesterday, I was still having headache due to stress, since I know it is stress I didn't want to take medication instead I go for fruits the are available fruit was banana.
Banana is a nutritious fruit that can be consumed at any time be it morning afternoon or night. Banana is a good source of potassium, minerals, fibre and vitamins.
After consuming the banana, I decided to rest for an hour, I didn't feel the headache anymore, the banana boost my system, helps in digestion and also Satiety.
Thereafter, I was able carry out my normal house chore before I finish everything it was afternoon already.
My lunch was my favourite meals party jollof Rice with fried plantains and egg. This is was a beautiful and complete day lunch. From this my meal you can see that, it well balanced and nutritious.
Party jollof Rice is the meals cherish in all occasions, in short it is meal king of occasion in my environment.
In case you feel like preparing the same party jollof Rice,my ingredients was Rice, fish, egg, stock cube, Fresh tomatoes, Groundnut oil, Salt, pepper, crayfish,onion, Ginger and Garlic.
Rice is carbohydrates, Egg and fish is protein, onion and fried plantains contains vitamin and mineral, I see this meal as complete meal in the right proportion.
My evening was blessed with one of our traditional meal called Edita Iwa with groundnut. During traditional rights, this is one of the meal we presents to our groom family.
This is a simple meal, if you uproot a cassava you, you peel the thin membrane, properly washes and cook it for 5 to 15 minutes. There after you slices it. Soak it inside clean water and enjoy it the next day.
This can never was prepared by mine mother-in-law 2 days ago, it was fresh and yummy. Since I return home late from work I decided to eat something simple. It was bit till it becomes exhausted.

Although my diet is very low in carbohydrates—in fact, I haven't eaten rice in a long time—I can't help but acknowledge how delicious your description of jollof rice is.
