Recipe of the Day, Week No. 102("Egg and Potato Bhujia Recipe")
My dear friends, I am absolutely delighted to participate in today's "Recipe of the Day: Week No. 102" contest. Today, I will be sharing with you a recipe of my own invention—one crafted using eggs and potatoes. With just a few simple ingredients and minimal effort, you can create a truly delicious dish that is also incredibly appetizing to look at. Indeed, it is hard to find anyone who does not enjoy eating fried potatoes. The combination of eggs and potatoes is always a delightful one, and it is this very pairing that forms the basis of my recipe for today: "Bhujia." It resembles a crispy fry in texture and is incredibly tasty to eat. Moreover, it can be served alongside just about anything—whether it be rice, roti, paratha, or puffed rice. In any case, this competition is undoubtedly wonderful, and it has been organized by @steemit-Iranchef. I extend my heartfelt thanks to them for organizing such a fantastic recipe-based contest.
Here is: contest link. So, let's get started with the recipe---
Ingredients:
| Ingredients | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Egg | 1 |
| Green Chilies | 4 |
| Potatoes | 2 piece |
| Onion | 1 piece |
| Salt | 1/2 Tablespoon |
| Turmeric | 1/3 Tablespoon |
| Mustard Oil | 2 Tablespoon |
Methods for making recipe:
Step: 1
First, using a knife, I will thinly slice and chop two potatoes. Next, I will chop the green chilies and onions. Then, I will thoroughly wash all the ingredients with water. Now, I will place a frying pan on an induction cooktop and pour in an adequate amount of oil. Once the oil has warmed up slightly, I will add the chopped onions.
Step: 2
Now, I will stir the onions continuously and fry them lightly until they turn golden brown.
Step: 3
Next, I will add the washed, chopped potatoes to the frying onions.
Step: 4
Now, I will add a suitable amount of salt and turmeric powder to the potatoes.
Step: 5
Next, I will use a spoon to thoroughly mix the salt and turmeric with the potatoes. Then, I will cover the pan with a lid and let it sit for a few minutes.
Step: 6
Now, I will stir the potatoes occasionally, keeping them covered, to let them cook through and fry. Once the potatoes have softened and taken on a golden-brown, fried appearance, I will transfer them into a separate bowl.
Step: 7
Afterward, I will crack an egg into the very same pan.
Step: 8
Then, using a spoon, I will scramble the egg until it forms a fluffy, crumbly Bhujia.
Final step:
Finally, I will add the egg Bhujia to the bowl containing the fried potatoes. And just like that, my Egg and Potato Bhujia recipe is complete! It is now ready to be served. It looked incredibly appetizing—and it tasted just as delicious and delightful!
| So, dear friends, I hope you enjoyed the recipe I prepared today. I will be back again soon with a new recipe post. Until then, take care, everyone. May God keep you all healthy. |
