This homemade papaya juice is really the best healthy and refreshing summer drink! It is made with digestive friendly ingredients and it is very easy to make.

I usually make fruit juice in my kids diet which is my favorite way to add nutrients and improve health. In fact, this homemade papaya juice recipe is a perfect refreshing drink for the summer months. It is full of healthy ingredients to support gut health.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 medium papaya
  • 2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 1/2 cup cold water (for desired consistency)
  • Salt to taste (only if required)

Step 01

Peel the papaya, remove the seeds and cut it into small pieces.

Step 02

Place the papaya pieces in a food processor and blend until smooth. Check the consistency and if it is too thick, add more water. Then blend again.

Step 03

Then add sugar and salt as per your taste to sweeten it, add lime juice and flavoring and mix well again for 5 seconds. Well then fresh papaya fruit juice is ready. For even more enjoyment, pour it into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

🥤Blend it with crushed ice for a perfect summer drink.
🥤Also, choose well-ripened papayas with yellow-orange skin.

I have never added salt to papaya juice, but I think it is added to enhance the flavor.
We use to add some seeds to the papaya juice, it has some properties too.
