RE: My food Diary Game (12/1/2025). How to prepare moimoi.
You said I should come and taste your delicacy, that's whining na, because you know we can't taste it hahaha. Omo, it been long I taste akara, it not that I haven't been seeing it here but the way they are making their own is different and also the taste. Like when I was in my village, there's a particular woman that was selling akamu(pap) and akara in the whole village. She was so specialized in it as her akara was tasty. But when I came to Lagos, the taste are not the same.
For example, some People use palm oil when frying the akara which makes it look dry. And some of them that are using the groundnut oil to fry, the akara would look moist inside. Unlike the one in the village where the inside looks white and dry, this one would not dry like that. I wonder how they are making it. It makes me feel disgusting to buy akara here.
But trust me, akara and bread na the best suicide. Thank you for sharing.
