How often do you buy meat or fish at this establishment?

I go to Badarganj fish market regularly, say at least two to three times a week. My relationship with this market is a lot of habit, and a lot of faith. Fresh fish is very important in village life, and Badarganj fish market fulfills that demand very easily. Entering the market in the early morning or late afternoon, the noise, the smell of fish, and the shouts of the vendors it all creates a familiar feeling that draws me back again and again.

I usually buy fish for my family's daily cooking. It is more comfortable for me to come here again and again than to do the big bazaar once a month separately. Because the fish I see today is really fresh - this assurance is easily available here. From some we take rui, from others katala, and sometimes small fish like punti or tengra. When there is an abundance of native fish according to the season, the number of arrivals to the market often increases.

Another reason to visit this market regularly is the familiarity with the vendors. The same faces are seen over and over again, they know what kind of fish I like, what size I take. As a result, bargaining becomes easier and trust is built. If you don't come once a week, it feels like something is missing in the kitchen.Besides fish, I sometimes buy meat, but less than fish. Meat is usually taken on special days or when guests arrive. In that case, I trust Badarganj market, because everything is available in one place. The atmosphere of the market is not very bright, but it matches the real life of rural Bengal. And that is more personal to me.

When shopping at these stores, what do you value most: low prices, the cleanliness of the establishment, or friendly service?

There are many things to look at when shopping at a market or store, but what stands out above all to me is a balanced experience. While shopping in Badarganj bazaar or nearby shops, I don't just look at the products, but the overall feel of the environment becomes very important. Price is of course a big issue, because the daily market expenditure is very consciously considered in the life of the common man in the village. Fair price and quality product combination of these two is most desirable for me.

But it's not just the low price that makes me happy. Cleanliness has gradually become more important to me. Especially when buying fish or meat, the surroundings of the store, the equipment used by the seller, and the overall cleanliness help me make a decision. A clean environment not only means health safety, but also an indication of the seller's honesty and responsibility towards the product.Adding a friendly touch makes the experience even better. Familiar faces, talking with a smile, trying to understand the customer's needs these things become a big reason to return to the market again and again.

In many shops in Badarganj, such sincerity is seen, where the relationship between buyer and seller is not limited to buying and selling, but a human connection is created. All in all,When shopping I place equal importance on cleanliness and friendly service along with low prices. A beautiful combination of these three is more valuable to me than choosing one to the exclusion of the other. It is this combination that turns a simple market trip into another relaxing moment in everyday life

How do you think the prices here compare to other establishments in your area?

Every time I come and go to Badarganj bazaar, it has become such a habit that the price tags I see in the shops are like a language of village life to me. What is mixed here with the everyday habits of ordinary people is "a unique balance of value and quality." If price were only a game of numbers, perhaps every thing could be bought; But people's lives are not only based on numbers so the price of every product in the market of Badarganj tells a perfect story. When you hear the price of fish, meat or other products here, you often think is it more or less? this question does not come to mind without reason.

27165.jpg

Because that price is determined by each store based on local demand, season, supply conditions and the seller's own experience. And right here, one of the uniqueness of Badarganj market - the price is made in accordance with the purchasing power of the people of the general areaSometimes I go to other areas, where big markets or city price lists come into view. When you hear the name of the same fish or similar product there, the first thought is what is the price? because the price in the city or in the big market is often higher than here.

27169.jpg

In Badarganj, the price is somewhat moderate, rather than a hard number, people can handle the bill. Over time, prices here are in many cases close to or less than other places. But even if it's a little high at times, that price is a respectable price one that the seller has worked hard to bring all day and the buyer knows it's fresh.
