ALOO DAMM BIRYANI ( 25-4-2024)
INTRODUCTION ;
Hello everybody, I am Roohi Asif I hope you will be doing fine by the Grace of Allah. Today I am share you aloo dam biryani because my family is potato lover .so I have decided to make aloo dam biryani .This is our cultural dish .there are many types of biryani chicken biryani, prawn biryani, mutton biryani, beef biryani, fish biryani and aloo dam biryani This is rice base recipe included spices Today i have participate This amazing contest LA RECETA DEL DIA SEMANA NRO 15//RECIPE OF THE DAY WEEK NO 15 and I am Thankful to steemit Iron chef team .before I have share recipe I would like to invite my friends @suboohi, @kunwal, @sualeha. Lets move on to share its added ingredients and cooking procedure
INGERIDENTS ;
Rice = 1 kg
Potatoes = 1 kg
onion = 1 cup [brown crushed ]
green chili = 7/8
tomatoes = half kg
coriander leaves = 4 table spoon
mint leaves = 6 table spoon
lemon = 3 [big size]
ginger garlic paste = 2 table spoon
yogurt = 250 gram
zerde ka rang = 2 table spoon
kewra water = 1 table spoon
aloo Bukhara =4/5
jaifal javitri = half tea spoon
red chili = two table spoon
coriander powder = two table spoon
turmeric powder = 1 table spoon
salt = 2 table spoon[according to your taste]
by leaves = 4/5
black paper = 2 table spoon
clove = 4/5
cumin seeds = 1 table spoon
cardamom = 3/4
green cardamom = 5/6
salmon sticks = 2/3
gram masala = 2 table spoon [grinded powder]
chicken powder = 6/7 table spoon
PROCEDURE;
1]Wash potatoes and peel of and cut one potato two parts .
2] boil potato in pen add some water and add chicken powder, zerde color about 15 minute .
3] heat oil in the pen add cumin seeds, by leaves , cloves , green cardamom then add tomatoes and frying 2-3 minutes
4]drain out hot water and keep the potato in pen
5] frying potato and add red chili, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, chicken powder, aloo Bukhara and frying 3-4 minute [frying until the surface of pen
6] add brown crushed onion add half cup of water and cover it
7] when potato proper cooked korma is ready and all the excess water dry it and frying 2-4] minute .
8] potato cook fast not take a long time
9] wash the rice three times.
10] put the rice in bawl for 20 minutes
11] after 20 minutes [the rice ready for cooking
12] add rice in the pen and water add double of rice quantity for example you have used 1 kg of rice use water 2 kg
13] use good quality of basmati
14] boil the rice in pen and add some germ masalas salmon stick, cloves, by leaves .black paper
15] cook the rice 90%
16] drain out the water then add oil the pen one layer of boil rice and add coriander leaves, mint leaves tomatoes and second layer add potato korma than add one layer of rice]
17] sprinkle zerde ka rang, sprinkle of chicken powder, lemon, green chili, kewra water
18] cover it 10-15 minutes
19] now aloo dam biryani ready
20]you have to serve raita and salat
