A power up is when you increase the value of your votes by converting and transferring steem into steem power, a decision rewarded with better curation rewards.

I had 209 steem power in my Steemit wallet producing a weekly average of 0.084 Steem power per week.

Power Up

My aim is to power up 50 additional steem hoping to clock a total of 259 steem power.

I activate my Steemit wallet with my private active key.

In the activated wallet, I chosed to power up

I confirm the power-up of 50 Steem and confirmed with the ok button.

Now that the power up is successful, its time to confirm that my steem power has incresed.
