What does sadness taste like to you? Does it represent a bitter sweet bland sour salty or any other flavor you wish to describe? Justify your answer.

To me sadness tastes like something very bitter and bland at the same time. When i am sad food also loses its taste. Even if i eating something sweets during sadness it feels tasteless. Sadness is likes a bitter medicines that we don’t wants to take but sometimes we must face it. For example when i miss someone or when something bad happens i feel likes my heart becomes empty. In these moments even my favorite food does not make me happy. I thinking sadness has a dull and bitter flavor because it makes everything feel heavy and silent inside the heart. Just like bitter gourd is hard to enjoy sadness is hard to handle. It slows everything down and makes life feel flavorless.

Of the flavors mentioned above which flavor do you associate with joy and why? Describe a dish or desserts that you feels like eating when you are happy.

Joy tastes sweet to me. Happiness feels like sugar in life. When i am happy even normal food tastes better. Sweetness is a symbol of celebration. Whenever something good happens in life we share sweets. That is why sweet flavor is directly connected with joy. When i am happy i loved eatings ice cream especially chocolates or mango flavor. I feels like the cold and sweet tastes melts in my mouth likes happy moments melting in my heart. I also enjoyed eating Gulab Jamun when i am celebrating somethings special. Sweet food always brings smiles. For example in festivals birthdays good news or even a surprise gift sweet things become a part of happiness. Happiness is likes a desserts we nevered get tired of eating.

Which flavor would you use to represent anger? Do you think that cooking whiles angry affects the flavor of the foods prepared?

Anger tastes salty and spicy. When someone is angry their mood becomes hot just like spicy food. If i imagine anger as a food flavor i think of red chili. Anger burns from inside like spicy food burns on the tongue. Also sometimes when we are angry tears come out. Tears are salty so anger also has a salty flavor. I also believes that cooking whiles angry really affects the tastes of food. When someone cooks with peace and love foods tastes betters because love is likes a special ingredient. But when someones cooks with anger they do not pay attentions they may add too much salts or spice and the food does not feel enjoyable. Our emotions go into the food we prepare. So if the cook is angry the meal becomes less tasty and less peaceful.

They say that eating chocolate has an antidepressant anti-sadness effect. Do you agree with this premise? Justify your answer.

Yes i agree that chocolate has a power to reduce sadness. Chocolate feels like a small happiness treat. When i am upsets and i eat chocolates my mood becomes a littles betters. Chocolates has a rich and sweets tastes that brings comfort to the heart. It feels like a warm hugs in a small bite. Many times people gift chocolates to cheer someone up and it actually works. Also science says chocolate releases good chemicals in our brain that make us feel happy. I have experienced this too. A simple chocolate bar can bring a smile and reduce stress. It does not solve problems but it gives little happiness and sometimes that small happiness is enough to feel better.

Saludos @sana-khan01.
