Greetings to the Steemit Family!


When winters are coming the demand increases of warm and full of energy stored food and meals. According to this theme I'm participating another week of Steemit learning challenge season 28 week 2. I'm really thankful to our teacher who's teaching us to making different and unique types soup at home. This week topic is to make lentils soup.

In the winter season the lentils soup is a blessing that provides heat, humidity, protein, fibres and full of nutrients to our body. The combination of three lentils, yellow moong Dal, red masoor Dal and sabut masoor Dal not even increase taste but very beneficial and digestive for all age groups. Especially very helpful for sugar patients and children.
The spices, vegetable and herbs strong the digestive system, better digestion, warmth the body and give energy to our brains. Today I'm making lentils soup with full details and step by step process.

Onion 1 small size fully chopped in thin small size

Cabbage Fully chopped in small quantity

Ginger paste 1/2 Tablespoon

Garlic 2 to 3 cloves

Turmeric powder 1/2 Tablespoon

🍲 Make an in detail step by step recipe of Lentils Soup

First of all I washed the all three lentils of our lentil soup for three times to remove extra dirt and dust. I soaked in the water for 10 minutes for quick cooking and making the soup texture creamy.

Then I cut all the vegetables using fresh water like onion, tomato, carrot, celery leaves and cabbage 🥬. I also making ginger garlic paste using chopping board with the help of knife.

Then I added three cups water in the pressure cooker and added soaked lentils in it.

Also added all the vegetables and also added salt, paprika powder, turmeric powder, zera powder, cumin powder and bay leaf.

In pressure cooker three to four whistles are enough but in steel pot 30 minutes required.

When the all lentils and vegetables fully cooked then I put the mixture in the blender and blend the mixture for better texture and make it creamy. It makes soup texture good.

In the separate pan add butter and heated it and added ginger garlic paste and celery leaves and frying for 40 to 50 seconds. Then added blended mixture of soup and cooked it for 7 to 10 minutes.

If you think the soup is thicker then you accepted then add one cup water more to make it consistency perfect.

When the lentils soup is ready and fully cooked then in the end sprinkle some black pepper on it and your delicious and full of nutrients soup is ready to serve.

🍲 what challenges do you face during making the soup and in list the prices of each ingredients in your local currency and steem

During making soup I personally faced some of challenge, the lentils are thick when I blend it using blender because it's full depending on water quantity and balance.
It lentils are not fully cooked then blending is not so easy then I think. If cooker whistle are not less then required then vegetables are little hard.

🍲 What healthy nutrients are found in Lentils Soup and what is your personal experience of having a warmth and healthy lentil soup bowl in cozy and cold winter

Lentils soup are full nutrients and full of energy.
Lentils are very good source of protein, it's very beneficial for muscle and tissue growth.
Sabut masoor Dal and yellow Moong Dal are full of fibres very useful for digestion and constipation.
Lentils are full of folate vitamin b3 very good for blood increases. Vegetables and lentils are good source of vitamins and protein, potassium and anti accidents.
