Chicken Tikka Wrap

I’m Arsalan Khatri, and I hope you’re all doing well. I’m back with another exciting Recipe of the Day – Week 84. Today’s highlight is a delicious Chicken Tikka Wrap — a flavorful combination of tender, marinated chicken tikka wrapped in soft flatbread, paired with fresh veggies and creamy sauces to create the perfect balance of taste and texture. These wraps are not only easy to prepare but also incredibly versatile, making them perfect for quick meals, lunch boxes, evening snacks, or even for serving guests.

Ingredient Quantity
Chicken (finely sliced) ½ kg
Yogurt 1 cup
Green chilies 2 (finely chopped)
Lemon juice ½ cup
Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
Chicken tikka masala 2 tablespoons
Oil (for marinade) 3 tablespoons
All-purpose flour (Maida) 1 kg
Ghee/Oil (for frying parathas) As needed
Mayonnaise ½ cup
Chili sauce ¼ cup
Sliced onions 1 medium
Chopped coriander 2 tablespoons
Charcoal 1 small piece
Oil/Butter (for smoke) ½ teaspoon

Method: Chicken Tikka Boti Roll

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chicken tikka masala, and oil. Let it rest for 1 hour.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

Add salt and oil to the flour and knead it into a smooth dough.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken

After 1 hour, cook the marinated chicken. Once fully cooked, dry any water from the chicken and add coal smoke (dhungar) for flavor. Now the chicken tikka boti is ready.

Step 4: Make Parathas

Make round parathas from the dough and fry them in ghee until golden brown.

Step 5: Assemble the Roll

Spread mayonnaise and chili sauce over the fried paratha and place the cooked tikka boti pieces on top of the paratha.

Step 6: Roll the Paratha

Roll the paratha with the tikka boti inside to form a roll.

Serve the delicious tikka boti roll hot.
