I’m Arsalan Khatri from Pakistan, and I hope you’re all doing well. I’m back with another exciting Recipe of the Day – Week 86. Today’s feature is a vibrant and delicious Arabic Paratha (Taro Root Paratha) — a simple yet flavorful dish made from boiled and mashed Arabic (taro root) mixed with spices and stuffed into dough to create soft, aromatic parathas. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a comforting dinner, these parathas offer a unique, earthy taste and pair wonderfully with yogurt, chutney, or curry.

Ingredient Quantity
Chicken mince (keema) ½ kg
All-purpose flour (maida) 1 kg
Onions 3 pieces
Green chilies 3 pieces
Fresh coriander and mint A handful each
Ginger-garlic paste 2 tablespoons
Cooking oil As needed
Salt To taste
Cumin seeds (zeera) 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder (haldi) ½ teaspoon
Whole coriander seeds (sabut dhania) 1 teaspoon (or crushed)
Garam masala (ground) 1 teaspoon
Crushed red chili As needed
Eggs 6 pieces

Cooking Procedure

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

First, take 1 bowl of flour. Add cooking oil and salt, then mix well. Add water and knead it into a dough.

Step 2: Cook the Filling

Now, add oil to a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste, minced chicken, and chopped onions. Fry them well.

Step 3: Add Spices and Herbs

Add green chilies and other spices. Also add coriander and mint leaves.

Step 4: Assemble the Patties

Take the prepared dough pieces, fill them with the cooked mixture and add an egg. Shape them into patties.

Step 5: Fry the Patties

Finally, fry the patties in cooking oil until golden brown.

Final presentation

Now your delicious Arabic Paratha is ready to serve! Enjoy it hot with chutney and ketchup for the perfect taste, crispy, flavorful, and absolutely irresistible.
