Introduction
Beef Qorma is a rich and flavorful traditional dish, deeply rooted in South Asian cuisine. Known for its aromatic spices and creamy texture, it combines tender beef with a perfect blend of herbs and seasonings. This dish is often served on special occasions and family gatherings, offering a true taste of heritage and warmth in every bite.
| Ingredient | Quantity |

| Onion | 2 medium, finely chopped |
| Ginger garlic paste | 2 tablespoons |
| Beef | ½ kg (500 grams) |
| Cooking oil | 4 tablespoons |
| Salt | 1 teaspoon (or to taste) |
| Turmeric powder | ½ teaspoon |
| Garam masala | 1 teaspoon |
| Red chili powder | 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste) |
| Ground coriander | 1 tablespoon |
| Chinese salt (Ajinomoto) | ½ teaspoon |
| Small cardamom | 3 to 4 pods |
| Ground coconut | 2 tablespoons |
Cooking Method
Step 1:
Heat cooking oil in a pan and add finely sliced onions. Fry them until they turn golden brown, then remove and set aside.
Step 2:
In the same oil, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until aromatic. Now add the beef pieces and fry until the meat changes color.
Step 3:
Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, and yogurt. Mix everything well and cook for 8–10 minutes on medium flame.
Step 4:
Pour in water as required, cover the lid, and let the beef cook until it becomes tender and the oil separates from the gravy.
Step 5:
Finally, add fried onions and stir gently. Cook for another 5 minutes on low flame to blend the flavors well.
Step 6:
Your delicious Beef Qorma is ready to serve. Garnish with fresh coriander or fried onions and enjoy it with naan or rice.
