Alabama bill Would Force Men to Get Vasectomy at 50 ✂️
A representative from Birmingham is pushing a bill she hopes will address the role of men in unplanned and unwanted pregnancies. Rep. Rolanda Hollis filed HB 238, a bill “related to family planning” that makes vasectomies mandatory. The bill’s text is short and sweet: A man, at his own expense, shall undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first. Hollis has been very forthright about the purpose of the bill as a response to last year’s sweeping anti-abortion legislation.

I can't watch the video right now, but I'll comment on the headline. What I find intriguing is the age. Why 50? Why not earlier? The least thing men in their 50s are thinking about is having kids :)
Extremes are always dangerous. If it is unfair to force women to have children they don't want, it would also be unfair to force men not to procreate.
I do think that some measures should be taken to prevent unwanted children from coming to this world.
Education is key
Why is audio always a problem? I've found I'm using the wrong one before.
Any controls on reproduction are dodgy. There is some history in various countries of mandatory sterilisation based on medical conditions or even wealth. What we do need is good education, available contraception and personal choice in whether to continue a pregnancy. We want to see less abortions, but preventing pregnancy in the first place is a priority.
This is inhumane. Another attack on the individual. Apparently some forces seek to reduce the planet's population in another way.
sometimes i feel that some bills are just unnecessary and it makes me see some politicians as someone who leaves serious business and goes about chasing irrelevant things..this is my own opinion though....
i believe that been involved in Vasectomy should be a thing of choice and should not be done forcefully or be made to be forceful...
instead of them to create bills that will touch lives and make the world better,they are busy chasing things which does not really matter....
