The first results of this spring

Last time I told you that my wife planted various early greens in the greenhouse and there were cold nights. I turned on the heater for 3 nights. Last weekend I was in Moscow for 4 days. When I arrived home, my wife told me that she was already preparing a salad of fresh greens and radishes for lunch. Great. On Thursday, I also picked watercress, onions and radishes for lunch.
I also saw beet leaves. But I didn't take them. I had a suspicion that these were seedlings for planting, and not greens for salad. I also saw cabbage seedlings. I did ask my wife about beets today. It was a joke on my part, but she said that she definitely planted beets not for salad, but for seedlings.

В прошлый раз я рассказал, что моя жена посадила различные ранниюю зелень в теплицу и были холодные ночи. Я включал обогреватель на 3 ночи. Прошлые выходные я 4 дня был в Москве. Когда я приехал домой, то жена мне сказала, чот уже ела свежую зелень и редиску. Замечательно. В четверг я тоже нарвал кресс-салат, лук и редиску себе на обед.
Еще я увидел листья свёклы. Но я не стал их рвать с грядки. У меня было подозрение, что это рассада для посадки, а не зелень для салата. Еще я увидел рассаду капусты. Я сегодня всё же спросил у жены насчет свеклы. Это была шутка с соей стороны, но она сказала, что свёкла точно посажена не для салата, а для рассады.


I asked my wife about arugula, spinach - why don't I see them in the greenhouse? It turned out that she planted these seeds, but they did not come up. It's a shame. Well, we will try to plant them again, but already other seeds.
By the way, today my wife planted tomatoes in the greenhouse. But another cold snap is expected for several days. We turned the heater back on for the night. My wife liked that I came up with the idea to do this.
Tomatoes are beginning to gain flower buds. I will show next weekend another update of the situation in the greenhouse.
We have 3 more days off ahead of us. This means we can work in our garden.
If the weather permits, tomorrow I will prepare the ground for planting carrots, early cabbage, peas.
Usually on May 8 or 9 we plant potatoes, but the early spring of this year confused all our plans and now an unpleasant cold front has come. Today it rained for half a day and tomorrow the forecast shows rain and snow.
Therefore, I think that we will not plant potatoes, we will postpone this event for a week.

Я спросил у жены насчет рукколы, шпината - почему я не вижу их на грядке? Оказалось, что она садила эти семена, но они не взошли. Очень обидно. Ну что ж, мы еще попробуем их посадить, но уже другие семена.
Кстати, сегодня жена высадила томаты в теплицу. Но ожидается очередное похолодание на несколько дней. Мы снова включили обогреватель на эту ночь. Жене понравилось, что я придумал так делать.
Томаты начинают набирать цвет. Я покажу в следующие выходные очередное обновление ситуации в теплице.
Впереди у нас еще 3 дня выходных. Это значит мы может работать в нашем саду.
Если позволит погода, то я завтра подготовлю почву для посадки моркови, ранней капусты, гороха.
Обычно 8 или 9 мая мы садим картошку, но раняя весна этого года спутала все наши планы и сейчас пришел неприятный холодный фронт. Сегодня полдня шел дождь и на завтра прогноз показывает дождь и снег.
Поэтому я думаю, что картошку мы будем садить через неделю.

These are the gifts of our greenhouse - on Thursday and Friday I cooked myself such a salad for lunch. Today my wife and I had lunch at an Italian restaurant, so we didn't cook lunch at home. We will have such a salad for lunch tomorrow.

А вот это уже дары нашей теплицы- в четверг и пятницу я готовил себе такой салат на обед. Сегодня мы с женой обедали в ресторане итальянском, так что салат на обед у нас будет завтра.
