Last Photos of the Beauty of the Fall Season

It has been a while since I last posted, but we had a nice day, and when the sun touched the leaves on the trees on our property, the colours were truly wonderful, so I wanted to share some of them!

All these photos are my own, and they are NOT colour enhanced!

One of the most colourful things in our garden at the moment is a big-leaf maple by our guest room. Just look at that red!

This particular tree has many very interesting looking leaves... in different stages of turning.

We also have several Japanese maples with smaller leaves, but very bright oranges and reds.

Around the corner, we have an old apricot tree. It also has some nice colour in the autumn, but more of a bright yellow.

Around the front of the house, out towards the street, we have a different strain of maple that has naturally red leaves that turn even redder in autumn.

We also have what's known as a "Smoke Tree," which can have a wealth of fall colour on the same tree at the same time.

All of nature is getting ready to shut down for winter, but this is such a beautiful season.

Even the lowly blackberry bramble shows off some pretty colours at this time of the year:

Soon, an autumn storm will come along and blow all the leaves away. But until then, we are enjoying the beauty of the fall colours! Thanks for coming to visit, and I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
