Management and Care of Panca Chili Seedlings
Hello steemit friends.
Hope you are always in good health.
This time I will share knowledge about chili plants, and their care.
Because I originally live in the Takengon area, Central Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia. It is well known that the cold city of Takengon has fertile soil and green plants.
I am a farmer's son, my parents go to the garden every day. And the plants they plant are young/palawija plants: vegetables, fruits, and others. It is said to be a young plant because it does not take long to harvest and cannot survive too long. In addition to young plants, my parents also grow old plants, such as coffee, durian, avocado, and others whose plants can grow for a long time and are harvested repeatedly.
This time I will share my experience and knowledge about chili seed plants. There are many types of chili, I will explain the chili seeds of the five types. These five chili seeds need special care, many of the farmers who want to plant chilies on their land buy chili seeds from other people who sell them. But it's different from my parents who sow their own chili seeds.
What is planted in these five chili seeds is the chili seeds, but not just any chili seeds, but buying chili seeds directly at a shop that provides farming tools. These chili seeds are sold in the form of sachets with prices ranging from IDR 30K-50K.
For the seeding process, the seeds must first be soaked in water for a few days until they germinate. Then it is planted above the soil surface. The soil must also be loose and black, so that the seedlings grow more fertile. It can be sown directly on the ground, it can also be planted on a box/seeding place like what my parents did in the picture. The box/seeding place is made of wood, made in the form of a box.
For sowing chili ore, sometimes must be given kitchen dust so that the seeds are not eaten by ants. Then just sow it on the surface of the soil. After planting the seedlings every morning, they must be diligently watered, so that they quickly grow fertile. There is no special fertilizer for planting seedlings, it's just that the place for planting seedlings should not be directly exposed to sunlight because it is feared that they will burn and die in the sun.
My parents did make a special place to put the seedlings, which were surrounded and topped with sarlon. Sometimes my parents grow it more, and people ask to buy it. One box/seedling place is sold at a price range of IDR 75K-85K.
If it is used as a business, it is also very suitable, because with the capital, buying only sachet seeds with loose soil can be a profitable business. I am very interested in making it a business. It's just that the consequences do not always thrive, if it is not properly cared for, the seedlings will fail to grow.
Now the seedlings are still about 2 weeks old, it will take about a week before they can be planted on the land that has been provided.
Maybe this is all I can share about chili seed seedlings. Next time, when the seedlings can be planted in the land, I will share my experience and knowledge in planting them.
