Greetings friends of the "Scouts y sus Amigos" community, This is my very first post on this community and it is a pleasure for me to be able to be in this wonderful community. In which my first i will share my participation for engagement challenge. I wish you all an excellent results to the week 2, let's start.

Are there homeless people in your country?

Yes, I have seen many adults and especially children sleeping on the sidewalks, in front of shopping centers and other establishments. Because of the low economy and budget today situation has worsened, because in my country, in small city we see children, young people and adults on the street, without a safe place to sleep and it is really painful to see this panorama.

It must be horrible to walk through the streets wandering, not knowing where you are going to spend the night, without eating all day, searching through the garbage or asking other people to help you and feed you.

What do you think is the cause that leads these people to be on the streets, homeless and without family?

This may be due to economic or social deprivation, Many times children are exposed to this panorama because they are orphaned, and no other family member wants to take care of them, others because they have migrated and do not care about their children and leave them stranded and the children have no other option than to go out into the streets to survive.

There are also many cases where the use of drugs and alcohol are the main causes of a person becoming vulnerable, being on the street without a safe place. All of this that I have described is because I know of totally real cases, and I have witnessed that family members do not like to take care of other family members and leave them abandoned.

Has the government tried to treat or create decent shelters to help these people?

The government is blind, deaf and mute on this issue. In some places there are nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, and homes for people with drug problems, however they are not fully suitable for the care of these people and the government is not looking for a way to address this problem.

I have not seen the first ruler to make a plan to rescue all homeless people and protect them according to each person's situation. And this is a social problem that should be addressed by those in power and ensure the well-being of these vulnerable people.

What could you propose so that these people do not continue in this dark world?

Yes i would propose to raise awareness among those in power, so that they are the main promoters of rescuing people with this condition and preventing people from continuing to join the streets.

I would propose carrying out an awareness campaign, starting from homes and educational institutions, to reinforce the importance of the family, the values and responsibility we have as a society.
