Introduction

We welcome you dear pet lover to Fur-friends, the community for pets and their owners. Its a great thing that you wish to join our community. To do so properly, this publication will guide you and help you know what you are to do so that you will become a certified member of this community. We welcome you once again. If you fulfill all these conditions, we will be able to even support your pet publications in our community.

Introduce your Pet(s)

The first thing we want you to do is to introduce your pet or pets. As friends and lovers of pets, we would like to know your pet more. We would like you to be as detailed as you in the introduction post. Kindly make sure to include the following information in your introduction post:

1. Name of pet
2. Country of Origin
3. Sex
4. Breed (If known)
5. Health Status
6. Behaviour/General characteristics
7. Any other details

Aside from the following details about your pet, we would like to use the opportunity to know you more. So kindly include the following details about you as part of the Introduction post

• Your name
• Occupation
• Likes/Hobby
• Country of Origin
• City of residence

Note: Take a white sheet and write the following on it:

• Pet name
• Owner
• Date

Then place the sheet beside your pet and take a picture or capture a picture of you holding the sheet beside your pet. Here is sample picture:

Other Important Requirements

We would like to promote the fur-friends community. We also want to support your original posts. We can all put hands together to achieve collective growth. As a result, we are including these as a requirement for everyone that would love their articles to be supported by the community:

Note: The founder of fur-friends community @focusnow also owns SteemAlive community. He has built a curation trail which is the 3rd most popular on Steemit with 150 followers. He will use this trail to support fur-friends posts.

Verified Members

When you successfully complete your membership verification, we will add the title Verified Member To your username. We will also publish a post once in a week of all the new verified members of the community.

We frown at Plagiarism

We have had a run-in with Plagiarism in the past, which was one reason we stopped for some time. The community was cleaned up and now we are starting on a clean slate. We have Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism. Fur-friends is strictly for Pet owners and lovers. All your posts must be original content. Copied work must not be more than 15% and should be properly referenced.

Disclaimer

I understand that plagiarism is stealing and I pledge never to publish plagiarized content on fur-friends community. I also understand that I will automatically lose my membership, get reported to appropriate plagiarism teams and have my posts muted if I am found guilty of plagiarism.
