Over time, our microwave(oven) are prone to develop bad odors and bad smells, especially if they are used frequently. Bad odors result from a build-up of grease, oil spills, or charred remnants of food that may have fallen from the baking tray.
You don't need to buy a lot of expensive cleaning products to eliminate bad odors in your home, thanks to a few common household items. Whether it's spoiled food or fishy fish, here are a few ways to freshen up the atmosphere.

Use baking soda and vinegar to clean a microwave(oven) that smells.

1- To clean your microwave(oven), sprinkle one cup of baking soda into the bottom. Next, combine two cups of white
vinegar into a spray bottle to create a non-toxic, cleaning solution.

2- After spraying the white vinegar onto the baking soda, spread the paste on the walls of the microwave(oven), letting
it sit for 20 minutes. Cleaning with the steel wool sponge, wipe the microwave(oven) with a clean cloth before
wiping it down.

3- A low-temperature microwave(oven) or about 200 degrees Fahrenheit will work best if you pour white vinegar inside
a microwave(oven)-safe bowl. Heat the microwave(oven) for about one hour on the lowest setting.

Use fresh lemon and water to clean a microwave(oven) that has a bad smell

1- A bowl filled with an inch of water and some lemons or oranges is an excellent way to naturally freshen up a
microwave(oven).

2- Put the lemon slices into the bowl after you have sliced two or three lemons in half. Oranges can also be used for this
way, but the peel should be used instead of the fruit.

3- Place the slices of two or three lemons inside the bowl after slicing them in half. Alternatively, you can use orange
peels in place of fruit in this process.
