Greetings to all. I hope you all are doing good in life. May Allah Al-Mighty bless everyone. I actively take part in SIZ contests, I participated in the last contest where I showed all my IT gadgets, now SIZ has introduced the contest of life without IT.So here is my entry for this contest.

Life Without IT:

We live in a world where every human individual uses technology to a great extent. Technology has taken over the world so exponentially in the last 50 years that now no one can imagine living without technology. These gadgets and the virtual things and virtual systems inside these gadgets have greatly impacted the human world. Let's talk about this in detail...

• Origin of Technology:

Nowadays every item is a technology-based item and little do we know that technology is that much included in our lives that some of the items which we use on a daily basis are based on technology.

First Invention in the Field of IT:

So it wasn't like that like a hundred years ago, technology has become a part of our lives in almost the last 100 years. The first technology item was the first Radio invented by Guglielmo Marconi in 1894.

This was the first-ever thing invented in the field of Information Technology and it was very crucial because this invention led to the creation of many advanced creations in the IT field. From there on the revolution started as that was the start of the modern world where technology basically ruled the world, and from there on technology burst at exponential rates and the result we see in today's world.

What will life be without IT?

I think there are two aspects to look at and two answers to this question .

The first aspect :

The first aspect is that if we remove all the technological devices and then see how life turns out. Today in this world technology is so deeply spread and it has made every individual soo dependant on it that it seems impossible even to imagine a single day without it, talking about a whole life it seems out of the world. So if it happens, today all the IT gadgets and devices are removed completely from this world, the result will be that human society would collapse, because of the fact that every human action in the world is based on IT devices, as far as the eye can see we see IT devices . Some examples are quoted below:

• Electricity:

Electricity, what comes to our mind when we hear the word electricity, our mind think of the lights that lighten our houses in dark and ease our life, the energy needed to power our home appliances like TV, fridge, Mobile phones and literally everything we can think of .So where did this electricity come from? This electricity is an absolute miracle of the technology that runs our world nowadays.

So come to think of it, how will we survive without electricity . Seems impossible right, and it is because of the fact that we have made ourselves soo dependant on technology that from collective human society to a single individual no one can function without it .our human world will totally collapse.

• Smart Phones and Laptops:

Now here comes the big deal, two of the most important things basically every human individual uses and the interesting fact is that most of the world population is making money and running their homes because of these devices, these devices introduced us to a new world with new opportunities to cash, so it is also beneficial and it is easy because many individuals, they work from home and support their family which is a very good thing and should be praised.

Now the downside is that if these devices are removed from existence, from my point of view I think humans are so addicted to it that they might go crazy over this. I am talking about my own personal experience, I have a brother at home who is almost 2 years old and he watches poems and cartoons on a Smartphone, whenever the electricity is down or the wifi is down and he is unable to watch cartoons, he becomes crazy and starts crying, he even hits himself . These devices basically trigger a hormone called Dopamine inside us which is the hormone for excitement and the way we have become addicted to these devices, our body craves a huge level of Dopamine, which results in a mental breakdown if that craving is not fulfilled.

The Second Aspect:

The second aspect in my this king is that, what if technology was never invented? What if IT never existed? Then what will our world look like?
The answer is simple and quite nature friendly, that there would be no sign of the following things:

• Climate Change:

As one of the main causes of Climate change is the use of vehicles, when there will be no such things in existence, there will be no climate change and the world will be a better place to live in terms of health and nature.

So the world will be a better place in case of the second aspect, because of nature and better health conditions plus no global warming.

• Non-IT Inventions :

Instead of IT, there will be some inventions for the ease of human life, these inventions will be nature friendly. The picture below is the representation of a life without IT and with Non-IT inventions.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, there are two results on the basis of two aspects that I explained above.

• The first aspect concludes that the world will not function because of the missing of IT, imagine waking up and seeing no gadgets around you, the world will collapse entirely.
• The second aspect concludes that the world will be a better place to live in, there will be no pollution, there will be a good level of oxygen following no global warming. So it will be a better place in my opinion.
