Artificial intelligence, like any tool, really can be used for good and for bad. Companies use it in the right way to address some of the big challenges. We've heard about some of the utopian views of AI and machine learning-enabled robots and autonomous weapons.

This is a challenge that we now have drones that can take off by themselves, fly into a war theater, fire a rocket, and come back without any human interaction. This is something everyone’s worried about, and we need to address it ethically.

Companies figure out how do they use AI effectively in their business. So they can use AI to deliver better services and better products to customers.

The challenges they face are not transparent, or when they use the wrong data, so they end up having biased systems or systems that they can use to manipulate the world.

We've seen this in Facebook's case, where Cambridge Analytica used data to manipulate the general elections' outcome potentially. This is something we want to evade when using data transparently. You want to do the trust in all of this.

AI is not inherently dangerous. It can do lots of good things. There's a whole movement around AI for good, and you can find a series of Forbes articles and blog posts on this.
