Weekend Diary || 15/01/2022 || Going Grocery Shopping and escorting friend to the Supermarket ||

Generally, people consider the weekend as the rest days of the week. It’s a time off from work to relax and have fun(unless you’re like me and don’t know how to relax).

Today, hasn’t been a very active day for me so I guess the purpose of the weekend has been achieved for me.

I woke up around 8am this morning, brushed my teeth and went out to get something for breakfast. I got porridge for breakfast. After breakfast, I stayed inside to work on my report for field attachment done 3 months ago.

I stayed in almost the whole day and came out later in the afternoon to get a cable for my phone. I woke up this morning to a broken cable lok. So I called a tricycle and headed for Navrongo town.

I arrived in the market pretty soon because the journey from my hostel to Navrongo market is only about a 10-minute ride. I went into the market in search of a store that sells chargers and cables.

After I bought the cable, I combed through the market to buy some vegetables that I’ll be cooking with later tonight. I bought some tomatoes, green pepper, onions and others.

I also escorted a friend shopping for canned foods and other stuff at the campus supermaket called Paradise Supermarket.

Today, my morning wasn’t really very active. My day got interactive towards the evening. I am going to take a shower now and then cook.
