Weekend Diary || 23rd January, 2022 || Cleaning, Going Shopping, and Going For Political Campaign For A Friend ||

Hello everyone, This weekend has the busiest I’ve been in a while. Since I went back to school, our lecturers have been on strike and there hasn’t really been much going on so I am pretty much resting all day. Particularly for a weekend, I should be relaxing. This weekend was different though.

I woke up pretty late this morning around 10am and went to get breakfast. I had tea with bread and beans, some people consider this a weird combination, but my friends and I think different.

After breakfast, I escorted @abdulkahargunu to his hostel to do some cleaning. He got to campus yesterday and his hostel needs to be tidied up and put to good shape. We swept and mobbed the room and bathroom. This took is a while.

After the cleaning exercise, we showered and went to town so he could gather some supplies and buy some utensils. He had bought some things already in Tamale before he came so there were only a few things left. We bought cups, spoons, bowls, and knives first. These cost around GHC60.

Then we looked for a store to buy some curtains and pillows. This was us at the pillow shop. He bought 2 pillows for GHC30 and 2 Curtains for GHC40, totalling GHC70.

The total cost for this mini shopping was GHC130, which is about 67STEEM.

After our mini shopping spree, we headed back to our school campus where we went on a campaign for a friend, @maazin who was aspiring for presidency of National Union Of Ghana Students (NUGS).

We headed back to our hostel when it was almost evening and bought some kenkey and beans on our way back for supper.
