I kind of felt left out...

On the @little-peppers account, we've been slowing working through a project for an upcoming children's book. Red-Pepper took a large number of photos to cover a number of scenes to be used as images for a book, and we've been sharing both the raw photos and some edited options. The effect that we use is called "Escher" and I really like the look of it for a black and white presentation of images.

A couple of us recently had the blessing of photographing a male Cardinal at a very close range, which lead to the absolute best photos of a Cardinal that I've ever taken. I wanted to check out how they looked edited, and I really like the detail that this edit brings forth. Here's a handful of them... see what you think.
