| Chilli | 5-7 piece |
| Chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
| Onion | 2 piece cooped |
| Lentils | 50 gm |
| Cumin Powder | Half teaspoon |

Today I am going to share a special recipe of a simple vegetable with you all. Today’s recipe is Pointed Gourd with Red Lentils (Masoor Dal). So without any delay, let’s get started.
🔹Step I

First, I took a few pointed gourds and peeled them using a knife. Then I cut them slightly diagonally into shape. After cutting, I washed them well with clean water.

Then I took about 50 grams of red lentils (masoor dal). I washed the lentils with clean water. Next, I peeled two medium-sized onions and sliced them thinly.

Then I finely chopped several green chilies. Here, I also peeled several cloves of garlic.

I put the pointed gourd, lentils, onions, green chilies, and garlic into a pressure cooker. Then I added an appropriate amount of chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

I added a suitable amount of oil and mixed all the ingredients well using a spatula. Then I added a small amount of water and closed the lid of the pressure cooker. I placed the cooker on the stove and let it cook for about 5–6 whistles. After that, I turned off the stove and took it down. It was nicely cooked, and now I will prepare the tempering.

I placed a frying pan on the stove and heated a small amount of oil. Then I added garlic paste and chopped onions.

I added a small amount of five-spice (panch phoron) and fried everything until it turned brownish. Then I added the cooked vegetable into the spices. The tempering is done. Now I checked the taste and turned off the stove. My vegetable dish is ready, and now I will serve it for eating.
