Hello dearest friends! It was a beautiful Sunday🌞 and you know what happens on Sunday right!? We go to our churches, we attend thanksgiving services or attend child dedications.

MY MORNING

I woke up very early (around 5am, Nigerian time) and sat down to write a post which I posted in steem for Ladies community. It was a story about a proud princess. After writing the post I went straight to my kitchen to prepare breakfast.

I made palm oil rice as we call it in my place and we had it for breakfast. After eating I prepaid for church, we had a child dedication to attend.

After preparing, we left the house for the occasion which was at The Apostolic Church. We arrived at the church at about 11:20 a.m. and they had not started the dedication proper.

The church reminded me a lot about when I was still with my mother. I used to attend The Apostolic Church back then before I got married. They were having their women's rally in church so after the women of the church gave their thanksgiving speech the sang a song that said "asuk adi ke 911" meaning that "God is coming in 911 with blessings".

All the women in the church carried their handbag, purses and whatever bag they came with and put on their head and started dancing around the whole church collecting blessings into their bags. They believed so much in the meaning of the song. It was an amazing sight.

After the women's rally, the pastor of the church prayed for the baby and dedicated the baby to God. Shortly after, the church dismissed and we went to the reception venue.

MY MIDDAY

Since it was a close person's event I had to help out in serving the visitors. We went to the reception ground earlier before the visitors arrived. We had different food available for the visitors which include porridge plantain, pepper rice and afang soup. As the guests came, we served them something to eat and drink.

After helping them, I recalled that my childhood friend stays in the same area so I told my husband that we should go visit her before we go. I called my friend to ask if she was home and thankfully she was at home. So we left the reception venue at about 4:00 p.m. in the evening.

MY EVENING

It has been very long since I saw this my friend and it was so nice to meet her again. We arrived at her place shortly and she prepared a delicious meal for me and my husband.

We ate to our satisfaction and got very tired. While gisting, power was restored so we washed a movie before we left there. The movie was shown on African magic channel and titled "Bad Blood."

The movie portrays a man who had an affair with the wive's sister and the wife caught him more than once. After watching the movie we left my friend's house and went home. At home I decided to write this post before I sleep. And that was all for my day.
