Video Tutorial on how to Change a Spoiled Zip
This video shows a detailed voice over on how I replaced an old zip with a new one on a mini trouser or short as it's fondly called in my country. This tutorial shows that before you replace a spoiled zip from a trouser, you need to first of all remove the zip from its place and then try using the flaps on the short or trouser to sew or attach with the new zip.
The magic I played with my sewing machine in this video is the combination of the left and right side of the zip to the front and back pieces of the flap. This is to prevent it from lagging. The sewing of the L-curve in front of the short is to keep that place standing instead of showing the zip or lagging if one I'd to sit down. If you're good with hand sewing, the interior work would be well recommended, but the exterior needs a sewing machine to make it straight and neat.
If you don't know how to change your zip, this is a quick tutorial.
