SLC-S29/W5-Mind & Learn : The Psychology Journey "Overcome your depression"
Task 01: New Chance to Share My Music Freestyles on YouTube |
|---|
I just got this awesome chance to put my music freestyles on YouTube. Now, people from all over the world can hear my songs and vibe with my talent. I’ve always wanted to find a way to get my music out there, and this feels like a dream come true. It’s cool because I can connect with folks everywhere—not just where I live. This opportunity is helping me grow as an artist, and it makes me really happy that people are finally noticing my hard work.
Things That Made Me Feel Good
Trying something new with my collaborator:
Instead of meeting up to record, we used an app called Volloca so I could record from home and my collaborator did the same from somewhere else. It saved us a lot of time and made things easier. It felt good to try a new way and still make great music.
A good meeting with music producers:
I had a meeting about my new album, and at first, I thought it might not go well because of some issues. But it actually went really well. We talked about my music and plans, and it gave me hope and excitement.
Handling a tough class schedule:
I have classes every day from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening. It’s really hard, especially since I’m also trying to be an artist. I thought it would be too much, but I kept going with faith and determination. I’m proud I managed both school and music.
Task 02: Things That Help Me When I’m Feeling Down |
|---|
When I’m sad or depressed, I do some things that help me feel better.
Planting trees and farming:
My family are farmers, so I love planting and growing things. When I’m working outside, I forget my sadness. It feels like life is growing with the plants, and that gives me hope.
Singing and writing songs:
When I’m feeling low, I write songs and sing them. It’s like talking to myself and letting out my feelings. Singing helps me cry if I need to, and after that, I feel calm.
Checking out new places, like a music studio:
Going to a new studio to record feels special, like a place where I can be heard. Exploring new places lifts my mood and gives me energy.
Doing fun workouts:
Sometimes I exercise around my community, Abak. It’s fun because I see old friends and enjoy the fresh air. One day, I went to a sunny park, and the sunshine made me feel happy.
Task 03: A Story About Betrayal |
|---|
I once trusted some friends who said they wanted to work with me on a business idea. We planned something new and exciting. But later, I found out they betrayed me. They took my ideas and tried to use them as their own, pushing me out. It hurt a lot because I thought they cared.
This taught me something important:
“It’s better to focus on yourself than waste time trying to please people who don’t value you. Work hard, succeed, and the real ones will come back.”

Task 04: Simple 5-Step Guide to Overcome Depression |
|---|
Accept Being Alone:
Sometimes we feel lonely. That’s okay. When I accepted it, I stopped being scared and felt stronger.
Talk to Others:
I share my feelings with friends and family. Hearing their stories helps me know I’m not alone.
Stay Active:
I walk, exercise, or go to the gym. Moving helps me sleep better and feel more energetic.
Think About Yourself:
I spend quiet time thinking about my feelings and actions. It helps me see how to improve.
Set Small Goals:
I make small plans each day. It keeps me focused and helps me move forward without feeling overwhelmed.
