Hey besties. @elsa-queen is here again. I hope you are all enjoying and exploring your hidden talents. These challenges always push me to try something new. I like to grow beyond my comfort zone.
I am super happy to participate in the Cooking Challenge hosted by @selina1 sister. For this I made a yummy zarda. It is such a fun and satisfying experience. A sincere thanks to maโam for arranging inspiring challenges. That spark creativity and passion for cooking.

1. Make the recipe mentioned above and describe the detailed method with pictures. So lets start making the amazing zarda recipe.
Step 1! First I poured water into a pan. I placed it on the fire. Then I added cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom and Star anise, and left it to boil. My zarda is going to be very delicious.
Step 2! When the water started boiling again. I added yellow food coloring. Since zarda is usually yellow. After adding it I let it cook properly. The water changed color and continued to boil nicely.
Step 3! When the water started boiling well. I add the rice. I had already washed and soaked the rice for about half an hour. When the water was ready. I added the rice. I mixed it well. I let it cook in the water. So it could absorb a nice color.
Step 4! Then I checked the rice. When it was almost cooked (still slightly firm). I drained the water and transferred it to a tray. This way all the excess water was removed. You can see the rice turned out with a very lovely color.
Step 5! Then I added one cup of sugar to the pan. After that I added milk and curd as well. I mixed everything properly. I started cooking it. Now we were making the sugar liquid for the rice.
Step 6! Then when everything was well mixed and cooked. I added ghee. I added all the ingredients according to my preference. You can adjust them as you like for your dish. After adding the ghee. I mixed it well and cooked it for about one to two minutes.
Step 7! Then I added the rice and mixed it well. After that I left it to cook for about one to three minutes. So that the moisture could dry out.
Step 8! By this time. I had already soaked the almonds. So I peeled them and cut them in half. Similarly I washed the raisins properly. This way I prepared the dry fruits for the rice almonds, raisins and cashews.
Step 9! Then I added these dry fruits on top of the rice. After that I covered the rice to let it steam (dum). I cooked it on low heat for about twenty minutes.
Step 10! After 20 minutes. The rice was perfectly cooked. This is full of wonderful aroma. This is absolutely delicious.
