SLC31-W6: Shop & Share Challenge - Visit Any Store of Your Choice

Hope you are all well. I am very happy to participate in this wonderful competition organized by @josepha in the final week (Week 6) of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season-31. Today I will take you to a shop in Uttara, where the shopping experience is mixed with two decades of friendship and deep trust.

☞What is the name and location of the store you visited?

The name of the shop I visited is 'Brothers Telecom'. It is located on the 4th floor (Shop No. 58)** of the very popular shopping mall Amir Complex in Uttara, Dhaka. The entire fourth floor of this market located in Sector-3 of Uttara is a heaven for mobile phones. Among the numerous shops, Brothers Telecom attracts the attention of technology lovers from afar with its bright OPPO, Xiaomi and Realme signboards. That is, those who buy mobile or gadget items will fall in love with that shop because this shop is open on three sides. The convenient location of this shop is that from any location in Uttara, you can take a rickshaw, CNG or public transport and just ask for it at Amir Complex. It is a popular and well-known market.

During my visit, I bought a brand new Honor X5C smartphone.

☞Was the price affordable and worth it? Explain briefly.

Absolutely yes! At Tk 14,799, the Honor X5C really offers great value for money in the midrange segment. I checked a few other stores in the market before buying this phone with its solid build quality and excellent camera system. I found that Brothers Telecom was offering the most competitive price without compromising on originality and official warranty. I felt that I got the right product for every taka.

☞How would you describe the quality and appearance of the items in the store?

The store is very well organized. There are separate display sections for each brand. There are phones from top brands like Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO, Samsung, Honor, OnePlus, and even Apple. Check out the illuminated display counter for this. In addition, the newly released phones of the mentioned mobile company are displayed here. The latest models like this are always in stock, which increases the choice of buyers.

☞Why did you choose to visit this particular store?

The main reason for choosing Brothers Telecom is Personal trust. The owner of the store Md. Sarwar Hossain is a friend of mine from the SSC 2002 batch, whom I have known for more than 20 years. Apart from that, this store is also very trustworthy in terms of business. I have seen several prestigious certificates on the wall of the store, including OPPO Retail Excellence Award and a certificate given by Managing Director Mr. Damon Young. These awards prove how uncompromising they are in terms of customer satisfaction. He also received the Srikriti Swarup Crest from our 2002 batch as a successful businessman.

☞ How was the customer service and environment of the place?

As soon as I entered the store, I was welcomed with a smiling face. And there is a different band promoter at every corner. There are comfortable sofas and modern swivel chairs for customers. The employees here are quite skilled and patient with technology. I was treated to tea while shopping, especially here they offer tea, coffee, and cold drinks, as a customer you will be served whatever you like. Which impressed me. Even though the entire market store is air-conditioned, this store is kept cool with a separate fan and there are CCTV cameras for security.

You can easily clear your bills using digital banking, debit or credit cards from any bank, POS terminals, or mobile banking services like bKash. It is a well-known fact that most other mobile retail shops levy an extra transaction fee or merchant charge on card payments, which can be quite frustrating for buyers.
