###Today's Diary Game
Well, my children and I are very fond of traveling, so last year, when they had their vacations, my brother planned that we would all take the children to show them the Kewra Salt Point, and it would be an informative visit for them, they would gain some knowledge and they would also get to see it.
So we planned a visit on June 10th . The kids woke up early in the morning, had some breakfast, and packed the rest of the things. The distance from Lahore is about 4 hours.
The weather was too hot .
###Location
So, the Khewra Salt Mine is the second largest salt mine in the world. It is located in the Jhelum District of Pakistan and is located in the Salt Range.
So we reached by 1 pm, a little salt mine, after that we bought tickets and there was also a railway track to go further, but we thought it would be more appropriate to walk.

We had entered the tunnel in the mine and were slowly walking upwards.
We walked through the tunnel for about 15 to 20 minutes, after which we reached an open area where there was a path on both sides .We started from right side.

###Historical Discovery
During this time, a guide also accompanied us, who started telling us about its historical significance, how Alexander the Great's troops camped here and their horses started licking some parts of the mountain, which led to the discovery of this mountain later.
###Himalayan Pink Salt
The pink salt that is available worldwide comes from this mine, and this salt is also exported to other countries in the form of blocks.

So, as I said, when we visited them in June last year, it was so hot outside, but the temperature inside the tunnel had cooled down so much that it didn't feel like it was that hot outside.

Inside, they had made small things from blocks of salt. In one place, the Minar of Pakistan was made from salt. In another place there was a natural pond several decades old , which was like salt water.
There were also food stalls there. When we got tired of walking, we bought food from a food stall.
This is a very historical and important place in Pakistan, which is visited by many tourists every year.
Our kids enjoyed a lot .and later about 5pm we started our journey back to home
