The orchard bliss. Close up of apples
Today, I will take you on a tour of our orchard. In the video I uploaded today, I visited one of our apple orchards and took a look at the apple trees, which is part of our daily routine these days. Since we are associated with the apple industry, it is very important for us to keep a close eye on our orchards.
Apple trees are vulnerable to a number of diseases, and one of the most damaging among them is apple scab, a fungal disease. Once it affects the fruit, the commercial value of the apples can drop drastically. That is why we regularly inspect our orchards to ensure that any problem is detected early and that sprays are applied whenever necessary.
Today, I visited a nearby orchard located on the outskirts of our village and carefully examined the trees and fruits. Fortunately, I did not notice any signs that required immediate spraying. However, as a precautionary measure, we still plan to apply a spray within the next couple of days. The weather was cloudy, so I could not spend much time walking around the orchard, but I still managed to record a short video.
I believe you will enjoy watching it because it gives you an opportunity to see apples growing on the trees. Many of my friends here may never have had the chance to witness this stage of apple production, as apples are cultivated in only a limited number of regions around the world. The fruits are still young and developing; they have a long way to go before reaching their full size and eventually turning red as they ripen.
Even at this early stage, the sight of these growing apples creates a beautiful scene. Spending time among the trees and observing nature up close is a unique and refreshing experience.
I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you for watching.
