I invite all my Steemians friends to my diary blog. I hope everyone is well and healthy. The day was the holy Eid ul Adha last Thursday, which is a symbol of sacrifice and utmost devotion to Allah for every Muslim. Every year I spend this day with my family. The holy Eid means a moment of joy in the home of every Muslim.

I woke up at 4 am and first washed my hands and face, then performed ablution well and prayed Fajr. After praying Fajr, I recited the Quran for some time. I started the Eid day by worshipping Allah, Alhamdulillah. Since I celebrated Eid with my whole family at my village home, I had to prepare several meals for the whole family on Eid day. After finishing my morning prayers, I went to the kitchen to help my mother-in-law cook.

When I went to the kitchen, I saw some cut luchis, which needed to be fried in oil. I heated oil in a pan on the stove and fried the luchis. On the other side, the double batch of chatpati was being boiled. We spent a busy time in the kitchen to complete the cooking for Eid. Milk soaked laccha semai, noodles, chatpati, budiya, khichuri and many other things were cooked. I spent about two hours in the kitchen to cook for the morning of Eid.

After cooking, everything was arranged on the dining table, then I took a bath and freshened up to offer Eid prayers. I exchanged greetings with the elders who were offering Eid prayers. The day before Eid, I received greetings from my loved one, it doesn't matter how much, what he gave out of love is very meaningful. I was very happy to receive Eid greetings from him. I gave Eid greetings to the younger members of my family, which they were very happy to receive.

When the whole family came home after the Eid Jamaat, we had breakfast together. After breakfast, we all spent some time together. Then everyone got busy with the Qurbani. I was feeling quite tired because I couldn't sleep properly last night. I slept for two hours straight to refresh myself.

It was almost noon, amidst the busyness of the sacrificial meat, we prepared lunch. For lunch, we had white rice, beef and some other food items. It was almost noon and afternoon when we prepared to distribute the sacrificial meat and store it. After finishing all the work, we freshened up and had lunch.

Now is the mango season, our city Rajshahi is famous for mangoes. I cut ripe mangoes for everyone in the evening, some mangoes were very ripe. I cut the mangoes carefully and then served them to all the family. Everyone worked a lot all day and everyone was very tired so everyone went to bed early to rest. I also finished my handiwork and went to bed to rest. Thus I enjoyed a very simple Eid day with my family. I am very grateful to Allah Almighty for a beautiful day.
