Most of the time I will feel happy and most of the time I will feel sad and for the past three days my happiness suppressed my sadness which I'm very happy about how I am feeling currently.

Task 01 Write a journal, note down the good things that have happened to you in three days, and share them.

My Three-Day Gratitude Journal

Day 1

As of Monday morning, I woke up feeling so tired and weak, but I became better when I had my breakfast with my friend who visited me. The good that happened to me was the kind message that I received from my friend that made me smile my sorrow away.

I didn't even know when I completed the task that I had been postponing for a long time, which I feel a sense of attachment and relief. I became proud and so happy with myself for being productive at the end of the day.

Day 2

Yesterday I took time to rest and focus on myself like never before. I enjoyed listening to music, which lifted my mood, making me feel happy. Another thing that happened to me was that I had a meaningful conversation with someone close to me whom I thought was having a a minderstanding.

My conversations with the person reminded me that I am supported and not alone. Towards evening, I went for a short walk in my street and I appreciated the fresh air I breathed and the calm surroundings.

Day 3

Today being Thursday, I felt more energetic. Throughout the week, it is today that I recognised my space, and seeing everything meat improved my mindset. Watching a comedy on Facebook and TikTok this afternoon, I laughed a lot which reduced stress.

The best part of the day was me feeling grateful for the small moments for the food I eat, and safety. I realise that happiness often exists in everyday life with these few simple things that I did today.

Task 02 Choose an activity that will help you overcome depression, such as planting trees, going to a restaurant, or visiting a nice place, take pictures, and share your experience.

The activity that helped me overcome depression, was visiting a quiet park to refresh my mind and reconnect with nature. I went to the spot that is surrounded by trees and I being surrounded by trees, fresh air, and enough space created a calming effect for me. I walked slowly, observed the atmosphere, and allowed myself to relax without thinking about my worries.

The experience that I got, helped me emotionally. Nature gave me a sense of balance and reminded me that life continues moving gently. Also, I noticed my breathing became slower and my thoughts became less heavy.

Spending time at the park under a tree reduced my mental tension and improved my mood. At the end of the day, I learned that simple outdoor activities can be powerful tools against depression.

Task 03 There will be a short story, read the story and convey your own thoughts

Becoming an engineer is what Maria has always dreamed of so she can fulfill her grandfather's wish, but constant family pressure and poor exam results left her frustrated and hopeless.

Maria's family ignored her constant desire for her to continue studying and arranged her marriage without her consent. Feeling trapped and unheard, Maria fell into severe depression, showing emotional outbursts and instability.

Without understanding or support, Maria's suffering worsened, and after running away and returning back home, she tragically took her own life out of depression. The story of Maria highlights the dangers of a lack of autonomy, forced expectations, and ignoring mental health struggles.
